Yesterday (Tuesday 30th May 2017) the Government announced its new Advisory Fuel Rates (AFRs) for employees that use a company car.
Due to the lower prices currently at the pumps, in part helped by the Supermarket competition, HMRC have undertaken their quarterly review.
Company car drivers should not fear however, as the only change we can see is for Petrol cars over 2000cc where the pence per mile has dropped from 22 pence to 21 pence.
These new rates will kick in from Thursday 1st June 2017.
