New Bentley Continental Supersports Spotted near Sterling HQ

Whilst out and about on test drives last week we noticed a slightly different looking Bentley GT on the road. Having seen it 3 or 4 times the detectives in us decided to follow it to see where it was coming from and going too! We found it hiding in front of the beautiful Bowcliffe Hall in Bramham and our Business Development Manager managed to take a closer look and got a quick spin down the road on back.

The Worlds Fastest Four Seater

A prototype version of the new Bentley Continental Supersports and the only one in the UK on the road at present. This car was a thing of beauty, (although some in the office thought it was a Bentley disguised as a taxi!). Finished in White with Black contrast bonnet, roof, tailgate and spoiler together with 21" Gloss Black Alloy Wheels.

The 700bhp redeveloped W12 powerplant will propel you to 60mph in an astonishing 3.4 seconds and will not stop until it hits a top speed of 209mph, making it the fastest Bentley ever produced and the fastest 4 seater production car in the World. This car felt seriously fast, you are pinned back into the seat during acceleration, but the sensation feels strange (in a good way) due to the lack of noise from the double glazed and sound proofed interior. The ceramic brakes can also stop this machine just as quick as it can accelerate which is always nice to know you have that if needed!

Inside the Cabin

Step into the cabin and you will discover an interior that continues the powerful sporting theme from outside. Supersports emblems will be stitched onto the headrests, while a new diamond quilting design to the seat centres and side panels enhances the car’s distinctive look even further. Unique large chequered design carbon-fibre fascia plates set the car apart, with Supersports branding on the passenger side fascia plate and on the treadplates. The unique Supersports steering wheel and gear lever provide the finishing touches.

These are probably some of the most comfortable seats I have sat in. Without doubt the comfort in here is equally suited for long or short journeys. The seats are fully adjustable and provide support in all key areas. The whole cabin area is beautifully designed and you can really tell the attention to detail that has been carried out in this area. Even the rear seats are more roomy than you would expect from this class of vehicle, even my 15 stone frame could get into them, unlike in a Porsche 911 or similar.
